Rescue 22 and Tanker 22 were dispatched to the 900 block of Disston View Dr. (Warwick Township) to assist Station 24 (Rothsville) on a reported house fire. Chief 24 arrived on scene to find a house with fire showing, and immediately requested a second alarm. The Rescue crew arrived and initially established a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT). Shortly after arrival, the Rescue crew was replaced as RIT and put to work to assist with fire suppression. The Tanker supplied Engine 24-2 with the initial fire attack, then joined in the Tanker shuttle rotation. Crews remained on scene for over 4 hours.
